Full-stack Software Developer (.NET Core)
European Commodities is a Belgian family owned company providing energy market access, portfolio management and energy balancing services to electricity suppliers, big industry and developers of renewable energy assets. Established in 2017, our company is present in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Hungary. We intend to grow fast to all the European power markets. Our headquarter is located in Deerlijk, Belgium.
The energy market is changing rapidly. The integration of renewable energy production assets increases the volatility of the electricity markets and requires a high level of expertise, a state-of-the-art back-office platform and very qualified people who can adapt continuously to new paradigms.
We need people who will help us to develop and operate new products and services allowing us to grow our competitive edge. Function
You will work in a team that develop, maintain and upgrade our proprietary software environment consisting of an energy forecasting and scheduling platform, a customer contracting portal, an invoicing platform, an energy trade & risk management (ETRM) and many other processes. We are looking for people with experience who like the challenge of developing software for a very complex sector such as the energy market.

— • You are interested to learn the mechanisms of the electricity market to have a good helicopter view on the software platforms you develop.
— • You have a strong analytical mind.
— • You never take anything for granted and always try to analyse things from different perspective.
— • You can work stand-alone but you appreciate to collaborate with a team.
— • You are a person of integrity.
Qualifications
— You hold a master degree in computer science, engineering or similar.
— You have a proven practical programming experience of at least 2 years with most of the following : Microsoft .NET environment, with Microsoft Azure, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB.
— Knowledges of Microservices, NO-SQL, ORM tools (Entity framework, NHibernate), DevExpress Component Suite, jQuery, Postgres SQL, Python is appreciated but not required.
— You have a good level of English.
